What is the Super Visa?

The Super Visa is a multi-entry visa allowing parents and grandparents of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to visit Canada for up to 5 years per entry, renewable for a total of 10 years.

Requirements

• The child/grandchild in Canada must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Proof of income above the minimum threshold based on family size
• Canadian private health insurance of at least $100,000 valid for at least 1 year
• Medical exam from a designated physician
